Photo Exibition

Explore the captivating photography exhibition at the Ukraine.Residence of Freedom event on Jaunavu Street, Riga, Latvia. Open to all, it features photographs by Ukrainian artists like Mariana Shafro, Yurasov Vitalii, and more.

This display includes Mariana Shafro’s “FREEDOM” photo series, unveiling the unyielding spirit within century-old trenches. Additionally, her “KARAYA” series honors Ukrainian hero Vadim Voroshilov, a pilot who bravely defended his homeland during Russia’s invasion.

Yurasov Vitalii’s evocative series adds depth to the exhibition, provoking interpretations. His photography, capturing military reality from the frontline, resonates profoundly.

Don’t miss his poignant piece “First apple,” capturing the touching moments of Ukrainian returnees.

Theatrical Reading
"Luggage Stories"

“Luggage Stories” – a play that revolves around the poignant experiences of refugees during wartime.

Actress Vishnya Vishnevaya’s escape from Kyiv to Alytus, accompanied by her daughter, Varya. Three talented actors in Riga, Marija Daniljuka, Jana Herbsta, and Mihail Shirjajev, embraced the noble idea of creating a play based on refugee experiences.

They connected with Vishnya, her friends, acquaintances, and real people who sought refuge in Latvia from Ukraine in 2022. From these compelling tales, a touching play was born.

The Price of Freedom

Gastronomic performances are a contemporary branch of art, in which different art directions and creative industries come together, creating synergy and giving the visitors multifaceted emotions. The purpose of the performance is to convey the theme, meaning and essence of the specific event, including the various senses of the visitors.

A 3-hour meal in which history, traditions, new trends of the era, synergy of various industries, statistics and the quintessence of creativity give a feeling of satiety or, on the contrary, lose your appetite.

*The performance is intended for visitors from the age of 18. It uses provocative and immersive actions.

Experience
the Symbolic
Night for
Freedom

More than 143,000 buildings have been destroyed in Ukraine since February 24, 2022. Spending nights in tents on the streets, we aim to demonstrate our solidarity with the people who have lost their homes. We are Ukraine.

The Freedom Residence – the creative team and organizers – will be hosting the Night of Freedom in solidarity with Ukraine on Independence Day.
This symbolic gesture aims to bring attention to the challenging circumstances faced by Ukrainian cities enduring missile attacks.

Charity Mission

The charity’s goal for this project is twofold: facilitate a psycho-social reintegration program for defenders who come back after injuries.
